General information about French classes for children
We are offering both online and in-person classes!!!
The online classes may have an occasional in-person component, unique to each class. For example - a school wide event, certificate awards ceremony, holiday celebration, etc. As some online students can not join us in-person, those events are always optional.
The in-person classes are held at the Roudenbush Community Center, 65 Main St, Westford MA.
Prorated tuition - you can join after the start of a class too, we prorate tuition.
Duration - all classes run in consecutive 8-week sessions throughout the school year.
Ongoing enrollment - you can join after a session has started too. Email us to find a suitable class.
We’re happy to chat about what works best for you! Our goal is to help those who want to learn a foreign language, have that opportunity. Are you ready to start your kids on their language learning journey?
Please note, the classes depend on enrollment, we need to have a minimum of 4 students to run a class. You will not be charged unless sufficient enrollment is confirmed.
A skill that will serve them for life
We know that teaching kids takes more than just a lesson. At Fun World Language Academy, our online classes are interactive, allowing students to truly engage in their language learning. We want to encourage a love of language, not make it a chore.
In our classes, the kids play games, listen to stories, do crafts, and have fun all while sharpening their language skills. They won’t even notice that they are learning new vocabulary and acquiring a new language. Pretty great, right?
Studies have shown that the benefits of learning a new language at a young age last into adulthood - and even before fluency is achieved. We always say that it’s never too early to start learning a foreign language, which is why we have offerings for a variety of age groups!
About Our french classes for children
Our purpose and passion is in bringing the benefits of bilingualism to as many children as possible.
We offer a gentle immersion program (as opposed to a full immersion) that includes games, crafts, and activities intended to maximize exposure to the language and to encourage participation without stress.
For students older than 7 we also offer a weekly homework assignment. The homework is short, fun, and optional. Its goal is to help proficiency without increasing frustration.
